The time has arisen in the United States of America for the People of this great nation to Stand and be heard. For far too long we have been pandered to, lied to and ignored by those We The People Elect, And have (UNTIL NOW) entrusted as temporary stewards of OUR Republic!
Well, No More! This is a Call to Action to ALL American citizens who understand, and are tired of the "Politicians" in Washington D.C. making policy, enacting laws, and forcing the American People to accept Laws and Legislation that affect our lives and our livelihoods without the slightest concern or consideration as to whether or not the American Electorate agree with these policies.
If Congress or the President of the United States are going to impose any Law or Legislation that in ANY way impacts the entirety of the American People, it should without question be put to Referendum by the American People. Whereas: Congress and the President of the United States of America shall be subject to any and all legislation imposed upon the American People, be it Social, Fiscal or Ideological!

What is the Mandate Amendment and why must the United States Congress pass it?
Presently, the mandate amendment is in the planning stages, but it is intended to be an amendment to the United States Constitution making it illegal for Congress to mandate citizens purchase anything from a private company.
It presently reads: Congress shall make no law mandating the purchase of a product or services from a private entity.
Why the Mandate Amendment?
The recent Supreme Court decision, ruling that Congress possesses the right to tax citizens into buying the products and services of a private company, opens the door to similar legislation. It is now conceivable that Congress could pass laws which favor certain companies, services, or products, making it mandatory for citizens to purchase products at whim. This clearly goes against the American principles and opens the door for politicians and corporation to combine power and impose their will upon the American public.

David Shestokas earned his B.A. in Political Science from Bradley University in 1975 and his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School, cum laude, in June of 1987. In 1986-87 he served on The John Marshall Law Review. He studied law at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
Mr. Shestokas has been admitted to practice law before the Illinois Supreme Court in 1987, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1988, the Supreme Court of Florida in 2004, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 2006.
